Thackerys cookery courses are designed for lovers of good food.
Graham will share his passion for food together with his knowledge and a few trade secrets in a friendly and relaxed manner, providing skills and ideas that are useful in everyday cooking as well as when entertaining. With a maximum of four people on each course there will always be plenty of time for individual attention.

The morning session begins at 9.30am with an informal briefing over coffee; this is followed by a demonstration of the first two courses of your three course menu. There will be tastings during the morning and Graham will talk about the ingredients being used, you will have time to ask questions, and taste the finished dishes at the end of the demonstration. After a break for coffee it’s hands-on into the kitchen where you will recreate the two courses demonstrated to be served as a late lunch which is served with good wines to compliment followed by coffee. Lunch is taken as a group around the table, giving you the chance to chat amongst your fellow students and to compare notes.

During the afternoon session you will go hands-on back into the kitchen to create at least four portions of a delicious dessert to take home to be enjoyed with your family and friends.

Your day will finish around 5.30pm when you will not only take away all the recipes learnt on your course, but the inspiration to create wonderful food at home.
